Maria’s Scarf – Book Club

“It was a brutal coming-of-age moment. I wasn’t a child anymore. I was 17, a graduate on the cusp of becoming a man. It was time to put away childish things, such as my delusion of ever having a dad who longed for his son as much as that son longed for him.” ~ Zoro

Our Book Club Session With Zoro Was More Than a Success!

“The Gulf Harbour Book Club met to discuss his memoir, Maria’s Scarf. We had 30+ in person and a few on Zoom. This may have been the best presentation by an author we have ever had. We had Zoro for an hour and 20 minutes, and he was by far one of the most entertaining authors we have ever hosted. His ability to communicate is brilliant. One of his messages to us was that we have to have goals…personal, professional, and spiritual. We can all tell a story about how Zoro touched our hearts and souls!”
