I started working with Vanessa Paradis after a call from Lenny, who had just produced an album for her and was helping her organize a touring band to support it. Touring with the French star was probably one of the nicest gigs I have ever done. It was class all the way. Vanessa was the sweetest and a great entertainer. She treated me like a king. Let me tell you - living the rock and roll life in continental Europe is far different from anywhere else in the world. I recorded one great album with her in 1993 at the famous Olympia Theater in Paris, France. (Vanessa Live At The Olympia available on CD from Remark Records1994)
